About your level
Your level decides which questions and answers you get. Each level has its own answers for a question, and a question is only offered at a level that has answers written for it. So changing your level can change which questions are available and how many there are in each section.
The change is saved to your account straight away, so it applies on every device you sign in on.
Every new quiz uses your new level, including weak-areas quizzes.
Your accuracy by section, and the weak areas picked from it, are worked out from the quizzes you took at your selected level.
Your past results don't change. Each quiz keeps the level it was taken at, and its results still show the answers you saw.
A quiz you've already started stays at the level you started it at, and you can finish it after changing level.
To retake a past quiz, your level has to match the level it was taken at.
Your free monthly quiz allowance is counted across all levels together, so switching level doesn't give you extra quizzes.
Answer a question first
You need to answer at least one question before you can save a quiz.
Saved quizzes are listed under Continue Where You Left Off on the Quiz page, and a quiz with no answers isn't kept there. Answer a question, then press Save again.
About Timed Mode
Timed Mode puts a countdown on any quiz you set up, so you can practise working to a clock. It's a Pro feature.
You choose the section, question type and number of questions as usual.
You get 72 seconds per question, so 10 questions is 12 minutes and 50 questions is 60 minutes.
You'll get a warning at 5 minutes and again at 1 minute.
When the time runs out, the quiz is submitted for you with the answers you've given so far.
The clock keeps running if you save and come back later, because it counts from when you started.
For the real exam's length and time, use the Exam Simulator instead.
About the Exam Simulator
The Exam Simulator runs a quiz the way the real PHECC MCQ exam does, with the same number of questions and the same time limit for your level. It's a Pro feature.
The questions are picked at random from every section at your level, so each exam is different.
The section, question type, number of questions and Timed Mode are fixed while it's ticked.
When the time runs out, the exam is submitted for you with the answers you've given so far.
Like the real exam, it can't be saved or paused, so set aside the full time before you start.
Your results show whether you reached the pass mark.
It's only available when your level has enough questions to make up a full exam.
